Wow, from the looks of your photo, you sat very near to me (we were in the middle level of small, sectioned off seating areas). I thought it was a great rally, but, you are right, not terribly intimate. The best part was taking my eight-year-old son who, no matter the outcome, got to see some history.


I had tried, along with a co-worker, to go to the obama rally here in Dallas week before last. It was just a few blocks away from work a Reunion Arena. Alas, we were among the several thousand who didn't get in (17,000 did!). However, we enjoyed our two hour wait in line.... It was quite energizing to see so many people turning out in the middle of a weekday.
